1. What surprised you most about working in the beauty industry?

I was struck by how interconnected the beauty industry is; it’s a small world where once you’re in, you find it hard to leave.

2. Briefly describe your journey into the world of beauty product development.

With over 20 years of experience in product development at renowned companies such as The Body Shop, Laleham Health and Beauty, and Floral Street Fragrances, I’ve honed the expertise needed to bring visions to life.

My passion shines through as I relish the opportunity to see products come to fruition on shelves. At Beauty Product Development Ltd, I offer a comprehensive, end-to-end service that ensures beauty products - whether in skincare, haircare, makeup, or fragrance—are ready to make a significant impact in the global Cosmetics & Toiletries market.

3. Do you have a hidden talent or hobby that might surprise your colleagues?

I am a keen kitesurfer, although 20 years later I’m still learning!

4. Share your favourite quick beauty tip for those busy mornings!

Never underestimate the power of mascara - it’s my go-to for a quick beauty boost.

5. Tea or Coffee?

I start my day with tea, switch to coffee mid-morning, and then enjoy more tea in the afternoon.

6. Cats or Dogs?

I’m a dog person through and through!

7. Favourite Childhood Book?

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory has always held a special place in my heart.

8. Can’t Live Without (One Beauty Product)?

Mascara is an absolute must-have for me.

9. A special place that inspires you?

Rodrigues Island in Mauritius is a breathtaking place that inspires me deeply.
